ExploreLearning Reflex has added a new math fact learning game that will rock your students’ world—SQ’World!
In SQ’World, Chestnut the squirrel must gather nuts and toys before winter arrives by answering math facts correctly. Chestnut explores new worlds, uses power-ups, and battles monsters in this fun-filled, fast-paced game that gets more challenging as students advance from level to level.
Whether donning a dinosaur power suit, avoiding snakes and spiders, running, jumping, or rustling through the trees, Chestnut helps students build math fact fluency while having fun and earning cool little trinkets.
SQ’World joins the universe of nine other learning games that make up Reflex, our research-based solution that helps students in grades 2-8 gain quick and effortless recall of basic math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
“Our goal from the very beginning was for Reflex to be the most effective, most fun math fact fluency solution in the world,” says David Shuster, Ph.D., founder and president of ExploreLearning. “It’s gratifying to see Reflex continue growing with fun, engaging games like SQ’World, and even more so when we see the evidence-based impact it makes on student attitudes and success in mathematics.”
SQ’World will be available for most Reflex users Oct. 4. Like the majority of Reflex games, SQ’World is locked and can be accessed by students through usage and by getting the Green Light.
