ExploreLearning is pleased to announce that Gizmos, Gizmos STEM Cases, and Reflex were selected as finalists for the District Administration and Future of Education Technology® (FETC) 2024 Top EdTech Products Awards. The goal of the awards is to spotlight the most innovative new solutions on the market that help district leaders meet the ever-evolving technology needs of their schools.
ExploreLearning Gizmos are online simulations that excite curiosity and invite interaction. There are more than 550 Gizmos in our library covering topics and concepts in math and science for U.S. grades 3 -12. Gizmos and Gizmos STEM Cases help students dig deeper into subjects and understand challenging concepts. Content is released and updated throughout the year. For example, the Hydrologic Cycle STEM Case, Molecule Builder, and Coriolis Effect simulations were released in early 2023. The popular Cell Structure Gizmo was updated in July 2023.
STEM Cases are available for elementary through AP high school students as part of an ExploreLearning Gizmos digital learning product subscription. During each STEM Case, students learn scientific concepts and apply scientific practices while acting as scientists. Our newest STEM Cases include Smelling in the Rain: Designing Solutions to Improve Air Quality and Sound Off, Please!: Designing Solutions to Reduce Noise Pollution.
Reflex is the most effective system for mastering basic facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Content, such as the new coaching practice activities, is released and updated throughout the year. Reflex helps grades 2+ students at every level quickly gain math fact fluency and confidence.
