Briefly describe your job… what do you really do at EL?
I work on the sales side with a team in the South region of the US. I work with six reps who cover Florida over to Texas and we help schools and districts realized the benefits our ed-tech programs can bring to their classrooms.
What do you like about working at EL?
ExploreLearning truly has the best math and science products on the market and working with the best is always where I strive to be. Our culture centers around helping one another succeed, that means there is always someone to listen to you and help you through a difficult situation.
What's the most seriously fun thing you've ever done?
To me, everything is the most seriously fun thing I have done–when I am doing it. I try and enjoy every situation to its fullest.
Why is STEM education important, in your personal opinion?
To me STEM education is problem solving and problem-solving leads to innovation which leads to new ideas and inventions; from there we can go anywhere.
Artificial intelligence… friend or foe?
Friend, for now…
Chemistry or Biology?
Chemistry was my favorite subject in college, and I taught chemistry for 2 years.
Algebra or Geometry?
Geometry. I like the shapes side of math.
Learn a language or learn how to code?
Language. Being able to communicate in a different language is very rewarding.
Deep space or deep sea?
Deep space. I want to explore new worlds and see our world from a far.
Bill Nye or Neil DeGrasse Tyson?
Both have a gift for making difficult concepts understandable.

Both had such a huge impact on our world today.

Star Trek. I watched the shows as a kid with my brother.
